A SHOUJO-AI RPG

It's been one year and one would be surprised how much has changed in that amount of time. Renovations have been done to the entire complex, including the formerly uninhabitted seventh floor. The new Cafe has opened up on the ground floor of the complex, offering service between 6AM and 10PM to the residents of the building.

Shadows: Since the renovations it's started to seem the building is not all that it appears and strange things happen inside its walls. Including strange shadows that seem to be self animated. For the moment, these only remain as rumors and possibly some of the tenants joking around

Easy rain drizzles over the streets and the sun has it's days on its own, out of sight. With hope of the warm summer to come, many cannot wait for the cold showers to evaporate.

HISTORY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For thousand of years The Gods have toyed with the fates and lives of mortal females. From the tragic women who caught the eye of the King of Olympus, himself, to the beautiful maidens who incurred the jealous anger of the goddesses, to the outright foolish who incurred the gods' wrath for some slight or insult. Myths and legends are riddled with those whose existence has been uprooted and shaken by divine influence. Once, the gods of the Greeks were feared and respected. Once, they held the power to topple empires and shape the hearts of mortals. Once, merely looking upon the true face of a god could reduce a mortal to a cinder.

Those days are past.

Belief in the mythology of old has waned, and the pantheons have scattered and broken. The immortals that remain have adapted, attempting to assimilate themselves into modern society. Though they are in decline, they remain the supernatural and mythological. They live and love and play their games, and none are the wiser. After all, what have the supernatural to fear? But as the world changes so does what is needed to adapt. And there are those who do not find it easy to fit neatly into the mortal world.

One such case of this ineptitude was Cassidy Sibyl; descendent of the seeress Cassandra. Like her predecessor, Cassidy gained the eye of a God, but not just any God. She attracted Zeus, himself. As it ever was, his love was destructive and she gained only misfortune and pain from his attentions. In remorse for the inauspicious turn he had brought to her, Zeus offered to grant the mortal seeress anything her heart desired. She extracted a promise from him; that whatever she asked for would be granted no matter what it was. The King of the Gods agreed and the seeress made her wish.

And thus, The Complex came in existence. A fortress for women against the manipulations of The Gods. A place where those women who suffered from the will of the mythological deities could exist without fear of divine or mortal persecution.

Zeus was furious, but oath bound to grant her wish. Safe inside her fortress, Cassidy lived deep into her old age. Upon her death, the building passed into the hands of her grand daughter, Rebecca Sibyl. Having grown up in the huge building, Rebecca could not bring herself to sell it, however she had no wish to move from the house in Virginia where she lived happily with her lover and their young son.

So instead she turned it into an apartment complex, renting out rooms to creatures of myth and mortal women who have been influenced by The Gods. But the building is not all that it appears and strange things happen inside its walls. Including, since the death of Cassidy Sibyl, strange shadows that seem to be self animated.

Is this the doing of The Gods who want back their pawns? Or is it something else?
